The London to Paris and Coast to Coast with a bit of Nightriding thrown in

Ian Leech 6th July 2011 This event has closed

Story

In 2011 the plan is to cycle the Lymphoma Association's own annual Coast to Coast cycle ride and then return to France, cycling once more from London to Paris. However, sandwiched inbetween those two rides is another event ... I'm going to accompany my daughter Becky on Nightrider. If I reach the target by July I will dye my hair purple... (Becky won't though) Please give generously, it's not everyday you get to see a 48 year old man with purple hair cycle to Paris!! Let fundraising commence

The object is to raise £2,000

27th November 2013
The object is to raise £2,000 for the Lymphoma Association's 25th anniversary year in memory of Melissa, my daughter, who sadly passed away in May 2008, nine months after being diagnosed with non Hodgkin's Lymphoma. To find out more about Melissa please visit www.mad4mel.co.uk So, the cycle rides, well, I've signed up for the London to Paris and I'll be pedaling away between the two famous capitals from 6th - 10th July 2011. A month earlier and I'll be cycling the Lymphoma Association's own cycle ride..... the coast to coast. From Whitehaven to Sunderland across the country! I have also now signed up for Nightrider, a 64 mile cycle round London's most famous sights through the night. I did this event last year, but I'm off to do it again because I shall be accompanied by Becky!! It will be Becky's first sponsored cycle ride and she too will be cycling in memory of her sister Mel and in aid of the Lymphoma Association.
